Jimmy and Jared Leto take a moment to ponder the great mysteries of life while sitting atop a mountain!
"If white people are so privileged why is there a Black Entertainment Network and no White Entertainment Network?"
"Men don’t have privilege, there are women’s only gyms!"
"Why isn’t there a campus centre for straight/cis people!?"
SAME REASONS WHY IN MARIO KART YOU DON’T GET BLUE SHELLS OR LIGHTNING BOLTS WHEN YOU’RE ALREADY IN FIRST PLACE, ASSBAG.
This is honestly the best explanation I have ever seen.
how game of thrones should end
#khal drogo just #descends from the heavens #on a flaming stallion #punches everyone in the face #and sits his fine dothraki ass down on the iron throne #until daenerys shows up #then he stands #dusts the seat off a bit #and steps aside for his khalessi
If you use YouTube, you need to know this.
You’ve heard all these rumblings about Net Neutrality over the past several months. Let’s get real: this is about controlling online video. It is estimated that by 2017, video content will account for 80-90% of all global Internet traffic.
This isn’t just about not being able to binge-watch a series on Netflix. It’s about the future of online video as we know it.
Whether your YouTube channel is home to daily vlogs, short films, or just that one video from when the cinnamon challenge seemed like a good idea, you’re a video creator. Your content and comments help shape this community. Let’s keep it that way.
Net Neutrality means that your YouTube videos reach people at the same speed as clips from last night’s episode of the Tonight Show. It means a level playing field for video creators looking to reach an audience. But new Net Neutrality rules could mess that up.
Here’s the deal: Telecommunications companies already charge us to access the Internet through our homes and our phones. New FCC rules could allow them to also charge content providers (like YouTube, Netflix, and even PBS) for access to our eyeballs. It could create a fast lane for Jimmy Fallon’s clips, and slow lane for your YouTube videos.
It is really important that the FCC understands that online video creators care about Net Neutrality. Even if you’ve only ever uploaded ONE VIDEO, you are a creator and you have a voice.
If you can, please add your channel to our petition. We’ll deliver this to the FCC in September and demonstrate that the online video community cares about this issue.
Celebrities doing the ALS ice bucket challenge
wow im really happy that all of these wealthy people would prefer doing this than donating money to a charity that will save lives
Okay, I’m a stop you right there. Yes, the basis of the challenge is dump water on your head or donate. But what this challenge is meant to do is RAISE AWARENESS. People who see this end up wondering and then learning what ALS is. And who better to spread the message than celebrities?
People who do the challenge are also still asked to make a donation, and to pass on the challenge. This is good. These celebrities are raising awareness, spreading the message, and probably still donating. But hey, they’re horrible people because they participated in this right? It would ‘ve been better if they wrote a check and never told anyone about it at all.
fun reminder that lady gaga also did this and then donated $10,000 to the foundation and i doubt she’s the only one to do that so pls chill
Seriously, how many people out there had never even heard of ALS, or had only heard of it vaguely in passing before their favourite celeb participated?
And I’m willing to bet a huge number of them donated more than the $100 or whatever you have to donate if you refuse to do it. $100 is pocket change for a lot of these folks.
" As of Monday, August 18, The ALS Association has received $15.6 million in donations compared to $1.8 million during the same time period last year…These donations have come from existing donors and 307,598 new donors to The Association.” (x) You can bet your ass that most of those new donors came because of the celebrities. And once you’ve donated to a charity, chances are good that you’ll donate again. Oh, and sleepcastiel? Have you donated?
There are so many new subs and I don’t know where they’re coming from or what is possessing them to subscribe but I just want them to know that I see you, I appreciate you, I love you, and I hope that you are blessed with free pizza and a bucket of fluffy kittens. No but seriously this amazes me and it may be a small number to some but it’s a mind blowing number to me. I still remember when I used to get 1 maybe 2 subs a week and now it’s like 3-5 a day. So unreal to me and it lights a fire under me to keep making videos and to always keep improving. I love doing youtube and apparently 423 people like watching my stuff so I’m gonna keep working at it. And some of these people are actually communicating with me and commenting on my videos which makes me so happy and excited because talking to people through videos was one of the reasons I started making videos in the first place and now it’s finally happening. Ok I’ve rambled on enough so I’ll end with this: if you’re one of the people supporting me and subscribing, thank you so much and I truly do love you <3
That is not a typo.
